M. CONCE RICHMOND, LCSW
THERAPIST & CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Conce is the clinical director and owner of Arbor Counseling. She has over twenty-five years of experience, and has assisted many individuals, families and couples by providing support through evidence-based strategies.
Conce uses a variety of therapeutic modalities drawn from person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment, solution focused and DBT to name a few. As a therapist, she aims to help clients implement effective strategies that are necessary when navigating life’s challenges.
Over the years, Conce has worked extensively with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, existential crises, life transitions, lack of self-empowerment, and those in need of creating meaning and value in their lives. Her goal is to create a warm and safe environment so that client’s feel ready to take those first steps towards their healing process.

ANDREA RICHMOND, LCSW
THERAPIST & ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Andrea is a licensed psychotherapist and assistant clinical director of Arbor Counseling. Throughout her experience, she has helped many clients work through life transitions, abuse, grief and loss, and manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and emotional instability while utilizing evidence-based forms of treatment.
Andrea specializes in helping individuals whose trauma or distressing life events make it difficult for them to develop a sense of safety, sense of self, regulate their emotions and navigate relationships. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of the individual client. Her interests include EMDR, internal family systems, re-parenting, emotionally focused therapy, transactional analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory.
Andrea’s goal in therapy is to assist clients in developing awareness of triggers, patterned responses and discover their origins. Once a client has mastered this awareness, she assists in helping clients implement skills to regulate emotions. reduce negative symptoms with increased confidence and self-compassion.

DANIELLE VIGIL, LCSW
Danielle has the perspective that everyone should be given more than one chance. She has overcome many obstacles in her own life and feels that others can do the same as long as they are given guidance, empathy, and understanding. She has over ten years of experience helping individuals be their best self.
Danielle works with children, adolescents and adults. Her experience includes working with trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and domestic violence for which she is certified. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), motivational interviewing, play therapy, treatment of PTSD, mindfulness and meditation.

JENNE GERMAN, CMHC
THERAPIST
Jennifer is a licensed clinical mental health counselor. She has worked primarily with adults, specializing in addiction, trauma, developmental/relational trauma, intimate partner violence, grief/loss, and attachment/intimacy disorders. She focuses less on labels and diagnoses and more on the story you tell yourself about who you are, where you are from, where you are going, and your relationship with others and the world around you. Her goal is to assist you in gaining clarity about the path you are on and how to be more skillful in managing your goals, obligations, fears, and virtues, so you can stay connected to those you love and the things that bring you joy.
Jenne takes an integrative approach to therapy, as she sees optimal health as a result of the mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and material aspects that impact the quality of your life experience. Her style is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based practices and treatment modalities tailored to match unique situations and personalities.
Jenne is trained in trauma-focused therapeutic models including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Seeking Safety. She is also trained in REBT, ACT, ASAM, Motivational Interviewing, Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, Gottman Method, Positive Psychology, Family Systems and continues to study Internal Family Systems, Jungian, attachment-based, mindfulness, shamanic, and somatic healing practices.

JOSHUA CHILDS, LCSW
THERAPIST
Josh has worked with adults, adolescents and families for over 12 years. He uses various evidenced-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution focused therapy to address the unique needs of each client which enables client directed therapy.
Josh is experienced with working with couples with relationship issues especially those who suffer from addictions and mood disorders. In addition, he has experience working with families who have special needs children, adults with physical disabilities, and mental health disorders helping them achieve their vocational goals.

APRIL MCCLOSKEY, SWI
Intern Therapist
April is a social work Intern. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Utah, and will be graduating with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah in May 2023.

April has experience working with adolescents and adults. She uses a gentle and warm approach utilizing techniques from motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and grounding exercises. She works with many people who have experienced trauma, depression, and anxiety. In addition to her experience in mental health counseling, April has extensive experience with the court system as a paralegal in family law, where she gained expertise in court probate working with guardianships and adoptions.

April utilizes her therapy sessions to create a compassionate and encouraging climate where clients from any background are empowered to explore their lives and work toward growth and change.
DEMI MENENDEZ, SWI
Intern Therapist
Demi is completing a master’s degree in social work at the University of Utah. She will graduate in May 2023. As a therapist, Demi works to create a safe and collaborative environment in which clients can build upon their self-compassion, self-awareness, and tools. Demi is passionate about various therapeutic modalities including person-centered therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory. Demi has a background in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a mental health therapist, she is excited to work with people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.
HOLLY STEINBERG, SWI
Intern Therapist
Holly Steinberg is a current MSW student at the University of Utah and will be graduating in May 2023. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and criminology in 2009, and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 2013, both from the University of Utah.

She has worked extensively with children and adolescents in settings such as residential treatment, school social work, and mental health counseling. Holly has also worked in criminal justice settings with children and their families where she provided counseling. Her work experience in these facilities have prepared her to work with a variety of individuals with unique challenges.

Holly works with a wide range of diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, autism, PTSD, and obsessive compulsive disorder to name a few. She approaches therapy from a variety of effective interventions including positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness/grounding, and solution focused therapy.
Holly values everyone and their unique life experiences. She loves to be a part of people’s journeys and help them find joy and empowerment in life. She wants all her clients to feel safe and welcome.
Administrative Staff
SAVANNAH BURTON
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Savannah is our administrative assistant and is the initial point of contact for our valued clients. She is a dedicated employee who truly cares about them.
She oversees scheduling duties, insurance relations, billing administration, and client reception. She welcomes client inquiries of any kind, promoting a close office/client relationship.

Savannah loves being surrounded by the great minds and hearts of our therapists here at Arbor Counseling who inspire her.

She is currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree of Psychology from Utah Valley University. She has plans to go on to graduate school to receive a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
EMILY JENSEN
OFFICE AND BILLING ADMIN
Emily is our insurance billing specialist. She has a background in accounting and finance but has changed careers to follow her passion in mental health therapy. She is currently working on her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Westminster College, expecting to graduate in the spring of 2024. As a new resident of Utah, Emily enjoys the outdoors in between going to school and working at Arbor Counseling.
