Our Team
Conce is the clinical director and owner of Arbor Counseling. She has over twenty-five years of experience, and has assisted many individuals, families and couples by providing support through evidence-based strategies.
Conce uses a variety of therapeutic modalities drawn from person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment, solution focused and DBT to name a few. As a therapist, she aims to help clients implement effective strategies that are necessary when navigating life’s challenges.
Over the years, Conce has worked extensively with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, existential crises, life transitions, lack of self-empowerment, and those in need of creating meaning and value in their lives. Her goal is to create a warm and safe environment so that client’s feel ready to take those first steps towards their healing process.

Andrea is a licensed psychotherapist and assistant clinical director of Arbor Counseling. Throughout her experience, she has helped many clients work through life transitions, abuse, grief and loss, and manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and emotional instability while utilizing evidence-based forms of treatment.
Andrea specializes in helping individuals whose trauma or distressing life events make it difficult for them to develop a sense of safety, sense of self, regulate their emotions and navigate relationships. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of the individual client. Her interests include EMDR, internal family systems, re-parenting, emotionally focused therapy, transactional analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory.
Andrea’s goal in therapy is to assist clients in developing awareness of triggers, patterned responses and discover their origins. Once a client has mastered this awareness, she assists in helping clients implement skills to regulate emotions. reduce negative symptoms with increased confidence and self-compassion.

JOSHUA CHILDS,

Josh has worked with adults, adolescents and families for over 12 years. He uses various evidenced-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution focused therapy (SFBT) to address the unique needs of each client which enables client directed therapy.
Josh is experienced with working with couples with relationship issues especially those who suffer from addictions and mood disorders. In addition, he has experience working with families who have special needs children, adults with physical disabilities, and mental health disorders helping them achieve their vocational goals.

APRIL MCCLOSKEY, CSW
April has experience working with adolescents and adults. She uses a gentle and warm approach utilizing techniques from motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and grounding exercises. She works with many people who have experienced trauma, depression, and anxiety. In addition to her experience in mental health counseling, April has extensive experience with the court system as a paralegal in family law, where she gained expertise in court probate working with guardianships and adoptions.

April utilizes her therapy sessions to create a compassionate and encouraging climate where clients from any background are empowered to explore their lives and work toward growth and change.

As a therapist, Demi works to create a safe and collaborative environment in which clients can build upon their self-compassion, self-awareness, and tools. Demi is passionate about various therapeutic modalities including person-centered therapy, mind-body bridging, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and attachment theory.
Demi has a background in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a mental health therapist, she is excited to work with people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.

HOLLY STEINBERG, CSW
Holly Steinberg has worked extensively with children and adolescents in settings such as residential treatment, school social work, and mental health counseling. Holly has also worked in criminal justice settings with children and their families providing support navigating the criminal justice system and counseling. In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Holly has
also worked with adults from all walks of life providing counseling and support in their journeys. Her diverse work experience has prepared her to work with a
variety of individuals with unique challenges.

Holly works with a wide range of diagnoses including (but not limited to anxiety, depression, autism, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She approaches therapy from a variety of effective interventions including positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness/grounding, eye
movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT). Holly also offers sandtray therapy. Sandtray is an expressive-arts approach that empowers the client by giving them control over their experiences and encourages reprocessing through play and utilizing a comforting medium
(sand). Sandtray therapy is an excellent modality for children who are struggling to vocalize their thoughts and feelings, but it is also available to adults! The sand provides a soothing tactile experience and paired with the elements of play, can lessen the intensity that traditional therapy often comes
with.
Holly values each individual and their unique life experiences and wants all her clients to feel safe and welcome. She loves to be a part of people’s journeys and help her clients find joy and empowerment in life.

Austin has experience working with adults and older teens in substance abuse, self-harm, low self-esteem and has worked extensively with people and their families who have been impacted by incarceration.
Austin uses cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavior approaches (DBT) within his therapy style.
Austin, with his friendly personality, creates a safe therapeutic environment where clients are treated with respect and empathy. His main goal is to provide them with the support they need to explore their lives, and regain a sense of

Her experience includes holding multiple positions at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute as a Patient Placement Specialist and Certified Crisis Response Worker. SAVANNAH BURTON,
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Savannah is our administrator and is the initial point of contact for our valued clients. She is a dedicated employee who truly cares about them.
She oversees scheduling duties, insurance relations, billing administration, and client reception. She welcomes client inquiries of any kind, promoting a close office/client relationship.

Savannah loves being surrounded by the great minds and hearts of our therapists here at Arbor Counseling who inspire her.
She recently received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University, and has plans to continue her education in Social Work.

SUSAN GRANT, OFFICE AND BILLING MANAGER
Susan is our administrative assistant and a friendly face at Arbor Counseling. Our clients value her communication and solutions. Susan is a Medicaid specialist. She has extensive experience in coordinating with caseworkers, insurance billing, compliance and more. She is a dedicated employee and we are happy to have her as part of the team.
