Our Team
Conce is the clinical director and owner of Arbor Counseling. She has over twenty-five years of experience, and has assisted many individuals, families and couples by providing support through evidence-based strategies.
Conce uses a variety of therapeutic modalities drawn from person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment, solution focused and DBT to name a few. As a therapist, she aims to help clients implement effective strategies that are necessary when navigating life’s challenges.
Over the years, Conce has worked extensively with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, existential crises, life transitions, lack of self-empowerment, and those in need of creating meaning and value in their lives. Her goal is to create a warm and safe environment so that client’s feel ready to take those first steps towards their healing process.

Andrea is a licensed psychotherapist and assistant clinical director of Arbor Counseling. Throughout her experience, she has helped many clients work through life transitions, abuse, grief and loss, and manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and emotional instability while utilizing evidence-based forms of treatment.
Andrea specializes in helping individuals whose trauma or distressing life events make it difficult for them to develop a sense of safety, sense of self, regulate their emotions and navigate relationships. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of the individual client. Her interests include EMDR, internal family systems, re-parenting, emotionally focused therapy, transactional analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory.
Andrea’s goal in therapy is to assist clients in developing awareness of triggers, patterned responses and discover their origins. Once a client has mastered this awareness, she assists in helping clients implement skills to regulate emotions. reduce negative symptoms with increased confidence and self-compassion.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
April has experience working with adolescents and adults. She uses a gentle and warm approach utilizing techniques from motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and grounding exercises. She works with many people who have experienced trauma, depression, and anxiety. In addition to her experience in mental health counseling, April has extensive experience with the court system as a paralegal in family law, where she gained expertise in court probate working with guardianships and adoptions.

April utilizes her therapy sessions to create a compassionate and encouraging climate where clients from any background are empowered to explore their lives and work toward growth and change.

APRIL MCCLOSKEY, LCSW
Tania began her career in counseling by earning a Master's degree in Art Therapy from the University of Utah. While living in Brazil, she went on to complete a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Clinical and Neurosciences. Over the course of fifteen years of clinical practice, she developed a deep understanding of the connection between the brain and behavior. This expertise has enabled her to help clients gain greater self-awareness and make meaningful, lasting changes that lead to a more fulfilling and joyful life.
During her time in Brazil, Tania also contributed to the academic field, authoring approximately 20 scientific articles and book chapters.
Upon returning to the United States, she furthered her education by earning a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Utah.
In her therapeutic work, Tania integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Tania is fluent in both English and Portuguese and has strong conversational skills in Spanish, allowing her to connect effectively with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Demi is a compassionate therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Utah. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of life and mental health challenges.
Her background includes supporting individuals facing challenges such as trauma, neurodivergence, behavioral concerns, eating disorders, and involvement in systems like foster care and adoption.
Demi brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based practices to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sand Tray Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Using an integrative approach, she incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavorial Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and therapeutic approaches to help clients build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with their inner self.
Demi is passionate about helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. With an empathetic, calm, and nonjudgmental presence, she strives to support individuals as they identify their strengths and navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

Holly Steinberg has worked extensively with children and adolescents in settings such as residential treatment, school social work, and mental health counseling. Holly has also worked in criminal justice settings with children and their families providing support navigating the criminal justice system and counseling. Holly has also worked with adults from all walks of life providing counseling in their individual journeys. Her diverse work experience has prepared her to work with a variety of individuals with unique challenges.

Holly works with a wide range of diagnoses including (but not limited to anxiety, depression, autism, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She approaches therapy from a variety of effective interventions including positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness/Grounding, Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Holly also offers Sand Tray Therapy. Sand Tray is an expressive-arts approach that empowers the client by giving them control over their experiences, encouraging reprocessing through play and utilizing a comforting medium (sand). Sand Tray Therapy is an excellent modality for children who are struggling to vocalize their thoughts and feelings, but it is also available to adults! The sand provides a soothing tactile experience and paired with the elements of play, can lessen the intensity that traditional therapy often comes with.
Holly values each individual and their unique life experiences and wants all her clients to feel safe and welcome. She loves to be a part of people’s journeys and help her clients find joy and empowerment in life.

With over 4 years of experience, she integrates evidence-based and compassionate approaches for adults, children, and adolescents with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Lindsey's therapeutic practice is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), guiding clients toward greater psychological flexibility by fostering acceptance, mindfulness, and values-based living. She helps individuals explore meaning, freedom, and responsibility in the face of life’s inherent uncertainties and transitions.
Lindsey also draws from principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering clients with validation and opportunity to improve distress tolerance and interpersonal relations.
Lindsey believes that therapy is a collaborative journey, where each individual’s lived experience is honored and explored with curiosity and compassion. She creates a safe and affirming space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

She provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), play, sand play, and expressive therapy techniques. In her office you will find art supplies, fidgets, and toys to bring fun and creativity into therapy.
Haley’s goal in therapy is to assist clients in identifying and developing awareness of their emotions and triggers. She helps clients process their lived experiences and collaborates with them to build healthy coping skills that are fun and practical. She assists clients in building self-confidence and feeling seen and supported. Outside of the therapeutic space Haley enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, reading, and playing with her two goldendoodles.

Whether navigating life transitions, coping with loss, or building self-efficacy, Donna helps individuals discover the values that drive them forward.
Donna finds restoration in her garden, where she cultivates both plants and patience. She views gardening as a metaphor for growth: with care, time, and perseverance, even the smallest seed can flourish. This philosophy mirrors her belief in people’s innate capacity to make successful changes and achieve their goals. Donna’s warm, encouraging presence invites clients to explore their potential and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.

Susan is our administrative assistant and a friendly face at Arbor Counseling. Our clients value her communication and solutions. Susan is a Medicaid specialist. She has extensive experience in coordinating with caseworkers, insurance billing, compliance and more. She is a dedicated employee and we are happy to have her as part of the team.
